Our Weekend Together

The schedule is intentionally spacious. Structured enough to do serious work, calm enough for real conversation, private reflection, and time with your partner. By Sunday, most participants leave with the start of a plan — not just notes.

Thursday, October 1

Arrival, check-in, and welcome dinner.

Friday, October 2

Morning movement. Still Married, Still Together and The Levers We Control through the morning and into the afternoon. Lunch, free time or an optional activity, followed by dinner.

Saturday, October 3

Morning movement. The Crucible and The World After Us through the day. Group activity or free time, dinner, and Laughter in the Dark in the evening.

Sunday, October 4

Optional sessions for those who want more practical guidance and planning. Hotel check-out and optional lunch.

The Work We’ll Do

Still Married, Still Together

A candid conversation about what this journey asks of a marriage, what it can erode, and what helps a couple stay connected.

The World After Us

A session designed to turn unspoken fear into clearer priorities and better decisions.

Laughter in the Dark

An evening built around humor, truth-telling, and the particular relief of being understood.

The Crucible

A story session in which a leader decades into this journey speaks plainly about how it changed the way they lead — their culture, their team, their true north, and what they stopped tolerating.

After Us: The People Design Lab

A practical session mapping the relationships and support your child will need in the long term.

The Levers We Control

A working session for parents on what is actually within their control: the choices, systems, and tradeoffs that shape outcomes most. Less theory, more honest decisions about where to spend time, money, and attention.

What Is Included

Your retreat fee includes three nights of accommodations, all retreat programming and facilitation, meals including wine, local transportation, and a menu of on-site or nearby activities. The intent is to remove logistics so participants can focus on the weekend itself.

Accommodations and Hospitality

We will stay at the Four Seasons Resort Vail. From arrival through departure, the experience is designed to feel calm, polished, interactive, and easy.

Travel

Guests are responsible for your own airfare. You may fly into Denver International Airport and drive to Vail, or Eagle County Regional Airport for a shorter transfer.

Activities

Optional activities may include a spa treatment, yoga, a nature walk (foliage tour), horseback riding, or time in town. They are there to support the rhythm of the weekend, not distract from it.

Pricing

  • Individual: $10,000 for one guest

  • Couple: $15,000 for two guests

This reflects the retreat, facilitators, accommodations, meals, wine, local transportation, and activities included over the three-night weekend.

Payment and Booking Details

Payment and all program details are shared during the inquiry process. Because the retreat is intentionally small, attendance is limited.
